Big Star Horse Rescue

Big Star Horse Rescue is a 501(3)c Nonprofit organization in Norco, California. Our purpose is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home horses. Our goal is to provide proper veterinary care, training, farrier services and always offer many hours of love and devotion. By raising funds and with  donations we can help these horses reach their full potential and purpose in life.

Big Star Horse Rescue was founded in 2021 by Gina Marie Pongs after losing her horse, Cash. During her search for a new horse, Gina came to realize how many horses are neglected, abused, or an owner simply cannot take care of them any longer. Having a big heart, Gina decided to do something about it and In a short period of time Big Star Horse Rescue has helped numerous horses by finding new homes where they are safe, well taken care of and loved.
